Knitting help

We are happy to answer customers' brief knitting questions over the counter. Our time is limited, though, so if you need extensive help or you bought your yarn elsewhere, please sign up for one of our classes, or make an appointment for a private lesson.

Concerned for the Environment?

Even though we love our plastic lavender shopping bags and we know our customers love them too, we are trying to cut down on the plastic usage. To do this, we started a collection jar to benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council. Every time a customer refuses a plastic bag we contribute 25 cents to the jar, and at the end of the month we will send a check to the NRDC. Last month we raised $50. It may seem like a drop in the ocean, but every little bit helps, and we find that doing this helps us be aware of other ways in which we can cut down on waste. Please look for our jar by the cash register next time you visit Wildfiber.
