Mel Clark
During the six years Mel Clark owned Wildfiber, she shared her love of knitting by teaching classes, ordering wonderful yarns to share with her customers, and writing a well-known knitting book with Tracy Ullman called "Knit 2 Together".
In February 2007, she decided to return home to her native New Zealand and sold the business to Natasha Hopkins.
Message from Mel:
After 23 years In California, 6 of them at Wildfiber, I am relocating to Auckland, New Zealand. I plan to design new patterns, write a new book, host knitting retreats and sell knitting supplies in New Zealand and Australia. Look for my new website, southseasknitting.com which should be up and running by July.
Thank you to all my friends at Wildfiber and the loyal customers who have supported my business during the past few years. Wildfiber will continue and grow under the ownership of Natasha, who shares my passion for beautiful yarns and the art of knitting.
If you wish to be on my email list and receive information on knitting retreats, new designs, and knitting news from down under, please email me at bopeepz@mac.com
