Class: Novice Knitters with Janet

Do you want to enjoy the benefits of knitting but you've never picked up a set of needles? Learn the basics: casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off at your own pace in a fun and relaxing environment.

Materials:

Two skeins of yarn of your choice. It is important to love the color and feel of the yarn you choose to begin with, but specialty yarns such as mohair, chenille or boucle are unsuitable for beginners for reasons we will explain in class.
One pair of knitting needles appropriate for your choice of yarn.
Tape measure
Scissors
